For Our Little Cosi Cosette
Eager, loving eyes that look up into yours
A tail wagging quickly in a pom-pom blur
The gentle little kisses that wash your face
The happy little trot to her favorite piney place
A vibrant soul so full of love for everyone she knew
Even with her cousin sister, though they shared a spat or two
So well did she fit her name, our cozy little girl
when she cuddled with you, it was a brighter world.
We will miss those little shining eyes
now that she has passed on to above
but the one thing we can always keep
is the memory of her love.
